Welcome Autosave and new download options

Your designs will be saved automatically after each edit you make.
The Save button has been replaced by the Download button, which has a dropdown menu. See it in action
Download designs (static, animated, or video), enable embedding or add your own custom AdTag from one single interface.
Download design sets in bulk in any format you want, including MP4 and animated GIF. Learn more
You can opt to receive the zip file on email when you download a set from the Generator, or we’ll automatically email you the link if you do this from your workspace. Choose the compression when downloading JPG files. Learn more
Undo everything that was autosaved, and redo anything you deleted but didn’t want to.
Shape Improvements
The download process is now more intuitive since you can perform this action from the Editor, Generator, or your workspace.
To help you focus on being productive, we moved the border settings from the save dialog to the background settings to be more visible and accessible.
Our servers are now optimized for higher demand, resulting in less waiting time for downloading. This avoids the risk of the servers being overloaded, so you’ll always get your designs in the shortest amount of time.
You can now add the URL and select the ClickTag option at the download section of your design.
You’ll have to enable embedding, to avoid publishing/updating your embed code before finishing your work. Embed links can also be disabled by simply accessing the link in the dialog box, under the copy embed code button.

Note: This feature does not support pasting animations. For improved workflow, you can use the hotkeys ctrl/cmd+c & v to perform the same actions without having to select the roller every single time.

Introducing the GIPHY Widget integration

Add loop animations to your designs from the GIPHY library (this works both in the editor and generator).
Edit your GIFs from the timeline in just a few clicks.
Edit the length, add build-in or build-out effects, or trim a specific portion to run on a loop.
Access the same controls as for MP4 files, such as the ability to show player controls, enable/disable autoplay, or the option to loop the element.
Note: We use MP4 as a source for the element that is added from the GIPHY library to provide better performance. This means that all GIPHY elements behave like videos in the editor, so the animation will not play in the editor, only when you preview it. Learn more

Introducing the Timeline v2 with more transitions, bulk editing, drag and drop scrubber and all new middle animations.

Timeline scrubber: Drag the scrubber handle to set a different starting position on the timeline or pull it over the transitions to get a preview frame by frame of your movements on the stage. Discover all new features
Middle animations: We’re thrilled to let you know that now it’s possible to add an extra movement to any layer, meaning right after the build in and before the build out transitions.
10 new ready-made transition presets: Play around with the Shake, Heartbeat, Blink, or Pulsate animation effects and apply it to any of your layers.
Trigger options for Middle Animations: time-based, start on hover or infinitely repeatable middle animations
Bulk editing for Timeline Elements: Simply select all the layers you want to edit and apply the changes in one single click. It’s super-easy!

We've removed the legacy animation UI from the Properties Bar. By clicking the transition button from the Properties Bar, you will now trigger the timeline from the bottom of the screen.

The whole navigation in our dashboard is now URL based. You can now use the browser buttons to navigate or simply copy and paste links to go to a specific folder or item.
We've added 40 new Google Font Libraries and extended 8 existing libraries with more font weights. For example your find more font weights for popular fonts like: Montserrat, Poppins and Oswald. Enjoy!

Early August brings some substantial updates to our team collaboration principles, a new color palette option in each Library, as well as transparent gradient points.

In our first May update, we've introduced the option to loop a banner together with a series of new shortcuts to the Editor. We've made our app faster, by optimizing the loading time when browsing images. Besides, we fixed some of the most crucial problems involving buttons and embed.
