An interesting series of banners, in which visuals and copy work together to outline the Leica cameras’ qualities. Watch the Leica “Silent” banner ad:

Now let’s see what can possibly make these banners effective.
First, we mention it above, is the creative idea. Which is not necessarily brilliant but it sure makes a point.
Second, is the placement. We found these series of banners on a photo community website, the place where a Leica buyer is likely to be.
Third, the design. Notice that all the three banners in the series have white backgrounds. That helps them to be taken for “real” content. You know, we already mentioned in the previous articles that as the more conspicuous a banner is, the most likely the user will ignore it.
By the way, notice the omnipresent Leica logo on all three ads. That makes them a good branding channel too.
